Our condensed report is a briefer format, approximately one page in length. This report follows a structured form and is more point form in style.

Credit checks:

The results of these are available the same day. In most cases, information will include (apart from confirming names and addresses) employment history, companies that have inquired on the person, names of creditors, credit history, credit ratings, et cetera. Public records are also listed and can include judgments, collections and bankruptcies.

University confirmations:

Generally, institutions verify the degree obtained, the date received (and other related information such as areas of study, special standings, etc.)

Professional qualifications:

Confirmation of a professional designation, such as a CA or CGA.

Personal property abstracts:

These are records of liens, loans, chattels or mortgages. Details will include the name and address of the creditor, amount of loan, date, item (if car, boat, et cetera; the serial number will be recorded) and terms of repayment.

Employment verifications:

Obtaining information that is available from the records office or the human resources department of a selected organization. As each company has different policies, it cannot be predicted what will be obtained, but businesses usually confirm dates of employment, title, responsibilities, reason for leaving, et cetera. Every effort will be made to obtain as much information as possible.

Driver’s abstract:

Details regarding an individual’s Canadian driving record, including whether there is a valid license, moving violations, etc.

Overseas designations:

While we do have access to various associations and institutions overseas, it is worthy of acknowledgement that the process of attempting to verify university degrees and special designations granted overseas can be a lengthy and expensive process, and often does not yield the desired results due to the variance of privacy rulings. Nevertheless, we are pleased to initiate this verification upon request and when provided with the candidate’s written authorization.
